Westchester Education Services is proud to announce our partnership with Dayton Young Black Professionals (DYBP), a group whose mission is to empower a network that provides professional and social opportunities within the Greater Dayton community. Complete details are available in this statement issued by DYBP.

As our product development service areas have increased, so, too, has our need to expand our recruiting base. Part of that effort starts in Dayton, where we look to offer opportunities for regionally-based professionals with the talent and expertise needed for our new service areas. Our growth has spurred opportunities for further outreach into a broader range of fields. Realizing that we were at a unique intersection of both requiring a larger talent pool and needing to better support diverse representation within educational publishing, in the Fall of 2019, we began working with Dayton Young Black Professionals to build this partnership.

We are currently accepting applications for several freelance opportunities, including production specialists and project managers, writers and editors in six Career and Technical Education categories, as well as Art & Design candidates, and we look forward to partnering with DYBP to tap into their network to help fill these roles. Westchester Education Services is particularly excited to connect with professionals in our community, as it contributes to the continued development and vitality of the business sector, fosters the economic stability of Gem City residents, and, by having freelance resources based in the same locale as our business, allows our team to forge strong connections with these talented professionals. We expect to continue to find additional ways to partner with DYBP as our business needs grow.

To learn more about the career paths available in educational publishing, please visit our table at the University of Dayton 2020 Spring Career and Internship Fair on Monday, February 10, from 1-5 pm.
